About Us

Bata India is the manufacturer of footwear in India and is a part of the Bata Shoe Organization. Incorporated as Bata Shoe Company Private Limited in 1931, the company was set up initially as a small operation in Konnagar (near Calcutta) in 1932. In January 1934, the foundation stone for the first building of Bata’s operation – now called the Bata. In the years that followed, the overall site was doubled in area. This township is popularly known as Batanagar. The Company went public in 1973 when it changed its name to Bata India Limited.Bata’s smart looking new stores supported by a range of better quality products are aimed at offering a superior shopping experience to its customers.

    It fits perfectly, the strap is soft and doesn’t dig into my skin. It is comfortable to walk in and doesn’t slip. And also, it is beautiful and looks good.

    Worst footwear . Quality is extremely degraded and especially Bata selling it under its brand name is the worst part. I have hardly used the footwear for a day and all the print is sticking to my foot underneath. Quality is cheap . Road side chappals of 100rs are far better than this . Do not purchase on the look .

    Bata products are always good …..it was but hard to when worn first . Request to maintain the originality of bata product as always like before times

    The colour is nice.But the sole isn’t flat. The fixing bungs poke out at the base and hence, while walking, the foot doesn’t get a flat base. It feels uncomfortable.Also, the metal emblem attached on one slipper is corroded!
